Program Description
This program provides a sensitive and informative exploration of conditions affecting the colon. Screening procedures, including colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy, are also covered. Topics include a discussion of the symptoms of colon disease, the diagnostic techniques used by health care providers, and several of the treatment options available. Animation is used to help patients clearly understand colon disease, colon cancer, and treatment options. Actual patients who have experienced colon conditions share their experiences.
