Program Description
This program offers an informative and sensitive exploration of skin cancer and its prevention. Diagnostic and screening procedures, including skin biopsies, ABCDE guidelines, skin self-examination and dermoscopy, are also covered. Topics include skin cancer symptoms, the three most-common types of skin cancer and several of the treatment options available. Animation is used to help patients clearly understand skin cancer and treatment options. Actual patients who have developed skin cancer share their experiences.
