Web cards provide the Web address, or URL, for the online content of the Traumatic Brain Injury: The Journey Home program.
This site provides a comprehensive review of mild, moderate and severe traumatic brain injury (TBI), including information for patients, family members, and caregivers. The Caregiver’s Journey, based on the Defense Health Board’s “Caregiver Guides” provides families and caregivers with a virtual learning environment to experience the curriculum through video and web-based tools, as well as through downloadable e-modules of the original printed "Caregiver Guides." Personal journeys of both individuals with TBI and their caregivers provide a realistic view of the TBI journey, and offer hope and support along the way.
The flip side of each Web card displays the URL for the CEMM Virtual Library, a comprehensive resource for patient education. The cards are colorful and created in a durable wallet-card format, which can be displayed in the Web card stand.
