Tonsil and Adenoid Surgery CD won the "Creative Solutions Award" at the Technology Games 2000, from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

This preoperative teaching program focuses on one of the most common pediatric surgical procedures – removal of the tonsils and adenoids.

The program allows families to learn about basic anatomy and function, surgical techniques, risks, benefits, and postoperative care.

This CD-ROM program was produced by the Center of Excellence for Medical Multimedia. It is also available on VHS tape.
